Reviews and Ratings
I had an amazing stay at Kitakobushi Shiretoko Hotel, which is perfectly situated near the Shiretoko National Park. The rooms were beautifully designed with tatami style and offered stunning views of the sea. The food was exceptional, especially the breakfast buffet with both Japanese and Western selections. The service was thoughtful and accommodating. However, some noise from the neighbors was noticeable. Overall, it was a delightful experience with great amenities and value for money.
I had a wonderful time at this hotel, enjoying spacious rooms with stunning views of the Shiretoko Sea. The overall atmosphere was calm and peaceful, which made it a great retreat despite the weather challenges. The dining options were decent, but exploring local eateries was more satisfying. The facilities, including the onsen, were enjoyable, though I felt some areas could benefit from a touch more hospitality.
My stay at the hotel was quite enjoyable with some fantastic features, especially the generous room size and the stunning hot springs. The buffet offered a wide variety of delicious food options. However, I was a bit disappointed with the changes in the dining setup and the public onsen arrangement. Overall, it’s a lovely place for a winter getaway, but some aspects left me wanting more.
This hotel is a cozy base for exploring Shiretoko, featuring a stunning onsen with harbor views and comfortable rooms that enhance the overall experience. The staff is incredibly welcoming, and the variety in dining options is a plus. However, the public onsen may not meet expectations for those seeking a more natural experience, and there are times when the facilities seem a bit deserted.
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The location is excellent, right by the harbor, making it convenient for exploring the area. The service was truly remarkable, with the staff being very helpful and attentive. However, I found the dining experience a bit lacking, and some of the hotel facilities could use an upgrade. Overall, it was decent but not without its flaws.
